Shawne A. Blackburn, MA, NCC, LMHC
I received my Masters degree from the University of New
Mexico in May of 2006. I have experience working with children and adolescents
on issues ranging from divorce to disruptive behavior and enjoy working
with these populations. I also have experience working with substance
abuse issues, gay and lesbian issues, and life transitions for both men
and women. I am open to working with all populations. I am experienced
in working both individually and in group settings. I take a very holistic
approach in my counseling because I believe that you must look at the
individual as a whole and sometimes the entire family to overcome obstacles.
I promote positive growth in my counseling and provide a very caring and
nurturing environment. I am comfortable using many different therapeutic
techniques ranging from cognitive behavior therapy to existential approaches.
I believe that the modality used depends on the client and the place they
are in their lives I believe that everyone has the power within themselves
to make lasting changes.

Paul Chavez MA, LMHC, is a gifted intuitive counselor
who enjoys and encourages connecting to learn, discover, and heal. During

goal is to show you how to grow in your power, self-acceptance, and happiness.
As a counselor,
my intent is to “meet you where you are” in the moment that
all healing takes place. My purpose is to connect with you and the power
within you. My sessions are designed to let you experience how connecting
with self automatically connects to one's purpose in life and determines
one's connections with others. It's easy to learn to act in agreement
with your feelings, Acting in agreement with your feelings
allows for the feedback loop to empower, heal, and create more fluidity
to your being. By accepting yourself, true freedom is felt and achieved.
